WOOOHOOO!!!

7 MONTHS UNTIL GRADUATION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Disaster!

I kinda slacked off on writing on this but I plan to get better! Well last night we had a disaster! Katherine started screaming her head off during the night and when I went to check on her all I could see was her feet kicking in the air. She had fallen in between her bed and the wall head first! Im so glad that I heard her muffled cries because that could have been really bad. It really freaked me out, so much that I just brought her to bed with us and put up with her flippin and floppin all night long. I have gray hair now for sure.

Ouch!

Jay has been hounding me to buy new mattresses but I have been putting it off until we can afford to buy Katherine's bedroom furniture first. SO as an interim we got a memory foam mattress topper. It was supossed to get here today but didnt so hopefully we will get it tomorrow and then both of us will stop hobbling around like 90 year olds. It is pathetic when you are more tired and sore after a full nights rest. My neck has literally had a crick(sp?) in it for months now. I cant wait to sleep comfortably!!!!
My 15 month old doesnt even want to sleep with mommy and daddy because her crib is more comfortable than our bed. It is so time for a change!

Sickies!

The last week or so has been pretty tough. First Katherine caught a stomach bug at the babysitters house and then gave it to the entire family. Then I caught a cold and gave it to Katherine. She is still getting over it. But today was her first day of feeling better. Hopefully we will be healthly for awhile now.

We did it!

Jay and I have been visiting a new church called Church on Rush Creek. Along with my mom, dad, Robyn, Clif, and Connor. We really like it. It has a wonderful children's program as well as youth program. So on Wednesday evening we went to a new members class and placed membership. We have found our home, the place to raise our daughters. Im so excited. We really want to grow spiritually and think that we will be able to do that at this church. I havent been so committed in a long time. Next step is to join a hometeam which I admit is a little scary. But it is something we need, a group of people to lean on when needed.

Labor Day weekend

Well the long weekend is over. Boo hoo. We had a great time though. Manda and Raymond moved into their new house this weekend so Jay, the girls, and I spent a lot of time over there. The people left their swing set so the girls played on that alot. One of the swings is really low to the ground and Kate can actually swing on it. Cameron put her in it and she leaned back and fell straight to the ground. So the next time she was sure to hold on. It was too cute. On sunday after church we went out to Jenny's to cook out and hang out with Jay's family. Cameron loves hanging out with Shane. They went swimming and played. We roasted marshmellows around the fire and sang some church songs too. It was really nice. Monday we all tried to sleep in but Kate was quick to change that plan. So we went to the mall and took a pair of skechers back that we had bought Cameron. We took her to Journeyz Kids and let her pick out a pair of shoes. She picked out a pair of DC skateboard shoes. Apparently this is the popular thing these days. She was so excited to get them. They are actually really cute, hotpink and brown. I would have liked them myself at that age.
After that we just hung out at home. Jay and Camie watched Fantastic Four while Katherine and I took a nap. It was so nice to get a nap for once. So now its back to work and school and I am none to happy about it.

The Blonde Beagle is healthy!

Well Toddy got a clean bill of health yesterday! We took him to see Dr. Walker and everything checked out fine. Jay and I got in trouble a little bit because we were about 2 months late for the appointment(oops) and we let Todds medicine run out for longer than that. Who else in the world has a dog with thyroid issues??? He has to be on medicine twice a day for the REST OF HIS LIFE! Who has time for this? Not me. Anyway we are back on track and going to try and be much better furbaby parents from here on out. After we got home from the vet I went to the store and I returned to a beagle illegally running around my house. Jay and Kate gave Toddy a bath and were letting him relax in the cool house. Katherine loved it so much. Jay said that she was watching Sesame Street and Todd laid down beside her and she was using him as a pillow. On the down side she poked him in the eye(and he just stood there and allowed it) so now he has a puffy thing in his eye that I have to watch and make sure it doesn't get infected or anything. He is such a good dog though. He just calmly follows you around the house and makes sure to watch what everyone is doing. I have missed my Toddy.
